BLservice.exe runtime error

installation stalls just before completion; upon restart getting Runtim

Runtime Error goes away only after uninstalling printer software

Can anyone help with this?

I Googled for "BLservice.exe" and didn't come up with much. My feeling is
that it's something preinstalled by HP but the best next step for you will
be to contact HP tech support for help.

HP Tech Support (both the printer support and the computer support)
spent hours, but gave up. Microsoft support also spent several hours,
and concluded that it is an HP problem. Returning the printer.

Did you discover a work around for the conflict between BLService.exe
and the Photosmart drivers?

How was this issue resolved. I am getting the same error msg. My printer
installed fine, it was when I installed my Wireless Data Card that I started
receiving this error msg.
