I have setup a KMS on a 2008 server
Please find the output for command slmgr -dl
::::
::C:\Windows\system32>cscript slmgr.vbs -dlv:

I then run
netstat -a -n -o > c:\ports.tx
Open it in notepad and search for 1688
There is nothing listening on TCP 1688... Yes I have opened up th
incoming firewall rule for 1688 TCP for the Key Management Service i
Windows Firewall
Additionally the script also did not create an SRV record in DNS fo
_VLMCS._TCP.ourdomain.local, this I can manually do.. but first I nee
to know why the KMS is not listening on 1688
Can someone please provide some assistance
Thanks
